Jet black with white markings on tail and face, Murrahs have tightly curved horns and a massive body with long head and neck. This breed is not only known for its high milk yielding capacity but also its high-quality meat. Producing good quality beef from dairy male buffalo needs careful management, this breed is ideal for this purpose with disease resistance and strong adaptability to varying climatic conditions. 

Malabari goats are mostly bred for their excellent meat. They are average-sized and possess white, black or piebald coats. Renowned for their reproductive capabilities, they can give birth to two to three kids in a delivery.

A breed that is reared for its milk, meat and hide, Beetal goats are low investment, high return livestock. They have large bodies and long, droopy ears. Due to the quality of their skin, their hides are used in manufacturing clothes, shoes etc. The goats are very adaptive to stall farming and hence most suitable for farming intensively.

Boer goats were developed in South Africa in the 1900's from a cross of indigenous goats and Indian or European goats and are bred mainly for meat production. They can be found in South Africa and the United States.
